The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jaxson as he jumps to the side.
Bear throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jaxson's waist but Jaxson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bear off to one side.
A combination from Jaxson does no damage.
Bear dives in and grabs Jaxson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jaxson pushes down on Bear's head and hops out.
Randy Jaxson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Al Bear.

Bear closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Jaxson tries to control but Bear manages to take his back.
Jaxson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jaxson wants to control his opponent's hands but Bear gets his hands free.

Bear lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Jaxson is trying to get back to his feet but Bear has full control of the position and if anything, Jaxson has just worked his way into a worse spot.
You can see the frustration on Jaxson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Bear scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Jaxson is looking for a way out.

Bear cracks Jaxson with a big shot to the side of the head Jaxson is covering up - he's in big trouble! Bear connects with another shot that knocks Jaxson out cold! Bear stands above his unconscious opponent and soaks up the roars from the crowd!
