Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isauro Udinese (ranked 6119 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yandar Bataev (ranked 3809 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Udinese tries to clinch but Bataev moves out of range.
Udinese dives in for a single leg takedown but Bataev sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Udinese shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bataev manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bataev is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Udinese presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Udinese has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bataev avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Bataev is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Bataev has Udinese pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bataev pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Udinese tumbling to the mat - Bataev dives into Udinese's guard.

Udinese bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bataev is on top in guard.

Udinese wants to get back to his feet but Bataev is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Udinese has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bataev is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Udinese.

Bataev remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well Bataev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
