The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papaioanou tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ruth throws a big counter combination but Papaioanou scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Papaioanou lands a head kick. Ruth smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Ruth counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Papaioanou out cold! What a finish! Ruth is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
