Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isreal Todd (ranked 25323 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punit Pathak (ranked 7223 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Isreal Todd has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Isreal Todd seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pathak misses with a kick to the body
and Todd counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Todd.
Todd looking for a takedown.
Todd fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Pathak's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pathak misses with a combination
and Todd counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Todd has Pathak pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Todd pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pathak tumbling to the mat - Todd dives into Pathak's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pathak working a defensive guard but Todd passes into half guard.
Todd could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Todd is thwarting Pathak's attempts to control the position.
Pathak wants to get back to full guard but Todd has mounted him!
Todd gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pathak has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pathak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pathak throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Todd seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Pathak misses with a double jab.
Todd circles away from the clinch attempt
and Todd counters with a single leg into guard. Pathak didn't expect that.
Pathak is wriggling around but Todd manages to pass to half guard.
Pathak wants to improve his position but Todd is controlling well.
Todd is taking a breather. Pathak says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Todd prevents Pathak from improving his position.

It looks like Isreal Todd has been cut.

Pathak instigates a clinch.
Todd has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Pathak is trying to keep an underhook but Todd manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Pathak tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Todd manages to move to mount!

Pathak is trying to reverse the position but instead Todd has taken his back - oops!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Todd biding his time, looking for the opening.
Todd is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Pathak is tapping out! This one is all over!
