Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Kruger (ranked 159 p4p, 19 weight class) and Cavey Beaumont (ranked 316 p4p, 32 weight class). Kruger's entrance music is Enter The Spingbok Ninja. A fine choice. Cavey Beaumont has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Kruger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cavey Beaumont!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Beaumont.
Beaumont moves into range and connects with a jab.

As Beaumont backs away, Kruger returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Beaumont looks to land a body kick but Kruger moved away.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Beaumont cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Beaumont won't let Kruger get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kruger is looking to improve his position but Beaumont isn't that keen on the idea.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Beaumont working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Kruger's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Beaumont connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kruger scrambles back to his feet.

Kruger walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Beaumont checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Beaumont lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Beaumont throws a jab but it's blocked by Kruger.

Dustin Kruger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cavey Beaumont.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dustin Kruger will probably get the nod.

and as Beaumont loses concentration momentarily, Kruger counters with a picture perfect head kick! Beaumont goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dustin Kruger!
In his post fight interview, Dustin Kruger started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
