Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Hansen (ranked 2738 p4p, 299 weight class) and James Lancaster (ranked 4023 p4p, 422 weight class). Lancaster has chosen Ambitionz As A Ridah by Tupac as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Lancaster had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hansen defends it easily.
Hansen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lancaster swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hansen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lancaster is proving hard to escape from.
Hansen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Hansen wants to control from the top but Lancaster keeps moving.

Lancaster has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hansen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Lancaster isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hansen stacks Lancaster on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hansen!
Lancaster can't do much from the bottom here.

Hansen drops Lancaster onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Lancaster is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Lancaster is still on wobbly legs! Can Hansen finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hansen pushes Lancaster against the cage. Hansen is working some dirty boxing. Hansen pushes off with a quick right hook! Lancaster goes down! Lancaster tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Hansen moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gustav Hansen!
A relieved looking Gustav Hansen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
James Lancaster spoke after the fight, saying 'Shit happens...'.
