Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Williamson (ranked 1862 p4p, 211 weight class) and Atte Savitaipale (ranked 2686 p4p, 290 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williamson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Savitaipale to the ground. Williamson is now in Savitaipale's guard.
Williamson trying to control but Savitaipale is working from the bottom.
Williamson tries to free his leg and advance position but Savitaipale is retaining full guard.
Savitaipale had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williamson defends it easily.
Savitaipale throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Williamson won't allow Savitaipale to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Savitaipale has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Williamson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Savitaipale has tightened it up now! Williamson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
