Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kazuma Onodera (ranked 3823 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Smith (ranked 6117 p4p, 0 weight class). Onodera comes to the cage accompanied by Night Hawk - Devilman Crybaby OST. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onodera blocks a leg kick.
Onodera throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and Onodera finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Onodera wants to pass the guard but Smith is keeping the position.
Onodera wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.
Onodera pushes down on Smith's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Onodera seems to be working for a kimura but Smith defends the submission attempt.
Onodera wants to free his trapped foot but Smith is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith is in trouble now - Onodera has advanced to mount!
Smith is trying to escape the mount but Onodera keeps good control and instead manages to take Smith's back.
Onodera is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Smith defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Onodera is working for a rear naked choke. Smith is not defending it well and Onodera has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Smith refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Smith's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kazuma Onodera!
After the fight, Kazuma Onodera was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
