The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partner tries to clinch up but Nikil Jr circles away and keeps his distance.
And Nikil Jr tries to counter it with a takedown but Partner pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Partner throws a one two combo.

It looks like Kenrick Nikil Jr has been cut.

Nikil Jr clinches up against the cage.

Nikil Jr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nikil Jr fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Partner to the ground. Nikil Jr is now in Partner's guard.

It looks like Nikil Jr might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Partner has momentary wrist control but Nikil Jr slips an elbow through the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nikil Jr arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Partner's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
