Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Buchanan (ranked 1125 p4p, 45 weight class) and Gordon Mundi (ranked 902 p4p, 41 weight class). Buchanan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wait and Bleed. Mundi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Swallow The Sun - Hold This Woe. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buchanan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mundi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Buchanan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mundi looks to throw the jab but Buchanan is out of range.
Buchanan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Buchanan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mundi sprawls well. Mundi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Buchanan gets slowly back to his feet.

Mundi throws a nice looking combination but Buchanan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Buchanan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mundi did well to prevent Buchanan getting side control.
Mundi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Buchanan is working away from the top position though.

Mundi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Buchanan is proving hard to escape from.

Mundi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Buchanan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mundi gets to his feet. Buchanan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Buchanan shoots in for a takedown but Mundi shows good takedown defense.

Mundi cracks Buchanan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mundi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Buchanan to stand back up!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Buchanan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mundi is fending him off so far but Buchanan persists. Nope, Mundi circles away and we're back to standing.
