Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byrd throws a head kick that misses.
Byrd lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Byrd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pallas was well out of range. Poor timing from Byrd.

Pallas drives through and clinches with Byrd against the cage.
Byrd doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Byrd landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Pallas throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Pallas has Byrd pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pallas misses with a short punch on the inside.
Byrd really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Maybe Byrd would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.
Pallas looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Pallas swings wildly with an uppercut but Byrd uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pallas creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pallas pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Pallas has a couple of punches blocked by Byrd.
Pallas misses with a hook from the clinch.
Byrd is looking to control Pallas's arms but Pallas gets an underhook and turns him. Now Byrd has his back to the cage.

Byrd gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Pallas regains guard.
Pallas keeping moving, preventing Byrd from controlling successfully.
Pallas looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Pallas has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Byrd doesn't defend quickly enough and Pallas has managed to lock this one up! Can Byrd escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pallas on a fantastic submission victory.
