The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freud dodges the punch combination from Pursov.
Freud looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Freud has eaten all the pies!
Freud slips a jab and a cross from Pursov.
Pursov connects with a leg kick. Freud looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Pursov throws a big shot that misses.
Freud walks into a left hand.
It looks like Ezekiel Freud has been cut.
Pursov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Freud checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Freud is looking for the big counter here.
Pursov scores with a body shot.
Freud scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pursov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Freud as he avoids it easily.
Pursov gets a clinch.
Freud wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pursov lands a left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pursov manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Pursov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Pursov is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Freud flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Freud is out cold! Pursov holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anton Pursov!
A relieved looking Anton Pursov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
