Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kovalev has Price up against the cage in a clinch.
Kovalev misses with a hook from the clinch.
Kovalev can't find room to land a body shot as Price controls the action.
Price prevents a body shot from Kovalev.
Kovalev goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kovalev misses with a body punch.
Price goes for a takedown attempt but Kovalev pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kovalev closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kovalev lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Price successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kovalev postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kovalev must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kovalev stands up over Price, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kovalev is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kovalev is continuing to stall.
Price wants to sweep but no luck.
Kovalev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Price. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kovalev controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kovalev stops Price from standing up.
Price utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kovalev slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Price might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kovalev won't allow Price to sweep him here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kovalev makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Oh Price is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kovalev gets to his feet and stands over Price, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Price felt that one! Kovalev unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Price from any more punishment!
