Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Coburn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Caniel Dormier!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Coburn throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Coburn lands a nice shot to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dormier.
Coburn just misses with a punch to the body.
Coburn throws a looping overhand right but Dormier ducks down to avoid it.
Dormier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coburn tries to avoid it but Dormier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coburn to the ground. Coburn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dormier closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dormier wants to take a breather but Coburn is having none of it.

Dormier maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Coburn could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Dormier has cracked it and Coburn is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Dormier!

Caniel Dormier opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
