The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nascimento tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Eight manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Eight is looking to counter punch.
Eight fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nascimento manages to avoid it.

Nascimento closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nascimento is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Eight knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Nascimento has an Americana. Eight didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Nascimento is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nascimento hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
