The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Cage clinches up against the cage.

Cage is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cage is on top in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cage is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Cage is staying tight to Dupuis's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Dupuis tries to bench press Cage off him but Cage keeps the position.
The referee asks Cage politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Cage prefers to stall for the moment though.
Dupuis wants to control but Cage postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cage takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Cage is trying to stick to Dupuis's back but Dupuis is turning into Cage. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cage's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dupuis. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Cage (10) vs (4) Dupuis

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dupuis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cage can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cage wants to take Dupuis's back but he can't do it this time.
Cage forces the positional change into back control. Score +3 for taking back: Cage (18) vs (4) Dupuis
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cage is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Dupuis has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Cage has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Dupuis taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Cage doesn't care though - he's delighted!
