Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Don Petersen (ranked 395 p4p, 61 weight class) and Cal Robbins (ranked 6902 p4p, 655 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Don Petersen! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Cal Robbins!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
The fight stays on the outside here - Petersen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Petersen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We've been hearing reports that Petersen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Robbins fails to land the takedown.
Petersen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Robbins swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Robbins has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Petersen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Robbins.

Petersen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Robbins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Petersen has managed to get both his arms back between Robbins's legs - danger averted.

Petersen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Petersen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Robbins can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Petersen controls the pace.
