Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 8561 p4p, 754 weight class) and Emil Derrick (ranked 7287 p4p, 707 weight class). Durant comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Enter Sandman. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Donatello Bradman and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Derrick. Durant does a little dance to reset his feet.
Derrick keeps the fight on the outside.
Derrick misses with a body kick.
A big left from Derrick misses.
Derrick looks to land a body kick but Durant moved away.
Derrick throws a head kick that misses.
Derrick misses with a head kick.
Durant seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Derrick looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Durant wants to clinch up but Derrick keeps it at a distance.
Durant dips to his left and cracks Derrick with an uppercut!
Derrick looks to land a combination but Durant avoids it well.

Derrick works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Durant throws a punch but it's blocked by Derrick.

Durant keeps control of Derrick as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Durant really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Durant keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Derrick's efforts to push away.

Derrick's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Derrick lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Durant backwards.
Durant swings wildly with an uppercut but Derrick uses good head movement to avoid it.
Derrick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Durant holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Durant misses with the head strike.
Derrick wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Derrick tries to break the clinch but Durant is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Derrick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Derrick tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Durant tries to counter by clinching up but Derrick breaks away and moves out of range.

Emil Derrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Derrick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Derrick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Derrick misses with a few strikes there.
Durant rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Derrick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fighters circling - Durant throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Durant tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Derrick manages to circle out of the way.
Derrick digs a good hook to Durant's body.
Durant moves in looking to clinch but Derrick pushes him off.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Derrick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Derrick misses with the combination.
Derrick looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Durant moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Durant lands a slapping body shot.
Derrick throws a hook but Durant avoids it easily.
Durant tries to clinch up.
Durant shoots in but Derrick avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Derrick takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Derrick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Derrick throws a series of punches but Durant avoids them all with ease.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Durant is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Emil Derrick will probably get the nod.

Emil Derrick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Derrick shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Durant eats them both and turns towards Derrick to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Durant sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Derrick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Durant moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Derrick scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Durant 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Derrick connects with a right hand. Durant shakes it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Derrick drops Durant with a beautiful combination! Durant stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Derrick is looking for the KO!
Durant is rocked!
Derrick and Durant are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Derrick throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Durant into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Derrick knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Emil Derrick!
Emil Derrick gave a mention to Phantom Fightwear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
The defeated Kevin Durant had this to say: 'Back to the drawing board for me folks, this is just a bump in the road. I'll be back better than before soon!'.
