The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sky doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Steele counters with a series of strikes. Sky will be more careful next time no doubt.

Steele closes the distance and pushes Sky back into the cage.
Sky tries to pull guard but Steele won't allow it.

Sky drops down looking for an ankle pick but Steele pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tangerin Sky. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Steele connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sky momentarily.

It looks like Tangerin Sky has been cut.

Sky tries to keep at a distance but Steele has taken the fight into the clinch.
Steele lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sky backwards.
