The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eye connects with a solid leg kick.
Anthony fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sloppy strikes from Eye. Those never looked like landing.

Anthony shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Eye is trying to defend but Anthony finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Eye regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Anthony.
Anthony is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Eye is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Anthony is controlling him.
Anthony is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Anthony has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Anthony distracts Eye with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Anthony stops Eye from standing up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Eye.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Eye fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Anthony, pushing him back against the cage.
Anthony tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Eye smiles and moves away.
Eye misses with a wild combination.
Eye connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Anthony changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eye tries to avoid it but Anthony manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eye to the ground. Eye escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dante Anthony. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eye pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Anthony back to the cage. Eye follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Anthony tries to score a power double leg takedown but Eye sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anthony somewhat.

Eye swats away the attempt to clinch by Anthony.
Eye throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Anthony tries to counter by clinching up but Eye breaks away and moves out of range.
Dante Anthony seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eye lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anthony circles away quickly and effectively.
Anthony shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Eye sprawls well. Eye wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Anthony gets slowly back to his feet.
And Eye responds with a good body kick, but Anthony manages to step out the way in time.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Anthony is looking to clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Anthony.
Eye tries to counter with a clinch but Anthony shakes him off and moves away.
Eye circles away from the clinch attempt.
Eye lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Anthony shoots in for a takedown but Eye shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Eye lands with a big left! Anthony is wobbled badly! Eye comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Anthony to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
