Hughes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slam - By: Onyx kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyson Avery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bronson Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avery throws a jab when Hughes was well out of range.
Hughes pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Avery appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Avery takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Avery has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Avery there as he acknowledges the shot.
Avery takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Avery uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hughes.
Avery feinted with a counter takedown.
Hughes pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hughes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Avery shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hughes pinned against the cage. Hughes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hughes throws a big shot that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Avery displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hughes throws out the jab.
Avery attempts a counter takedown but Hughes avoids it well and moves away.
Hughes throws a hook but Avery blocks it.
Avery swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A punch combination from Avery misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Avery.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Avery walks into a stiff left hand from Hughes.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hughes.
Hughes lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Avery goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hughes prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Avery. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Avery tries to score a body lock takedown but Hughes shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hughes lands a hook to the side of the head.
Avery is trying to pull guard but Hughes turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hughes.
Hughes lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hughes lands an elbow inside.


Avery is rocked!
Hughes stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Oh Avery is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hughes lands a nice knee to the body.
Avery is breathing heavily.
Hughes creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Avery's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Avery drops to his knees and Hughes pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bronson Hughes!
Bronson Hughes seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
