Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Livity (ranked 1050 p4p, 133 weight class) and Terry Tatum (ranked 1665 p4p, 218 weight class). Livity comes to the cage accompanied by James Brown - It's a Man's world. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Tatum!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Livity scores with a hook.
Nice uppercut there from Tatum.
Livity lands a jab to the head.
Tatum misses with a shot to the body
and Livity counters with a nice uppercut.
Tatum just misses with a punch to the body.
Tatum doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tatum misses with a body kick.
Livity swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Livity steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tatum.
Livity is looking to counter punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tatum uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Livity has time to react.

Livity rushes Tatum and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Tatum misses with an elbow over the top.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Livity.
Livity is looking for a takedown.
Livity has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tatum lands with a right to the head.
Tatum wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Livity has him pressed against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Livity.
Tatum is stalling here.
Tatum misses with some punches.

Tatum breaks the clinch.
Tatum misses with a body punch
and Livity counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Tatum throws a hook but Livity blocks it.
Livity throws a big counter combination but Tatum scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Tatum comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Livity scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Tatum moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Livity takes a kick to the side of the head.
Tatum walks into a straight right hand from Livity.
Tatum misses with a double jab
and Livity counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tatum thinking.
Tatum's coach down at Rabid Dog was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tatum's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Tatum walks into a jab.
Livity tries to clinch but Tatum is having none of it.
It seemed like Tatum was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Tatum slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tatum cracks Livity with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Livity falls to his knees and Tatum doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Terry Tatum thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
