Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Folton (ranked 6655 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael MP (ranked 5330 p4p, 0 weight class). Folton comes to the cage accompanied by Journeyman (Iron Maiden). MP has chosen Whitesnake - Is This Love? as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Folton rushes MP and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
I was talking to Folton's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Folton goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Folton gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Folton looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Folton scoring with strikes to the body and head.
MP taking some punishment here, with Folton in his half guard.
MP is refusing to be controlled, as Folton sits in half guard.
Folton lands strikes from half guard.
Folton working over MP with some ground and pound. MP looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Folton looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
MP on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Folton is trying to control. MP wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
MP felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Folton lands strikes from half guard.
Folton is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
MP looks winded!
Folton takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Folton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks MP with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
MP has hold of Folton's hands but Folton slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Folton winds up and cracks MP with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

MP is rocked!
Folton lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked MP! More strikes land and this one is all over! Folton jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Trevor Folton tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
The defeated Michael MP had this to say: 'That was unexpected. Give me another 5 minutes and that dude is getting wrecked.'.
