Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pond changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tatum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pond happy to just control the position for now.
Tatum is looking for a sweep.
Tatum wants to control but Pond postures up.

Pond thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Pond stands up and we're back to a striking position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tatum misses with a takedown attempt - Pond sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pond swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Pond bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Tatum is trying to control Pond's posture but Pond avoids it.
Pond content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Pond has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Pond has hold of Tatum's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tatum manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Pond takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Pond has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tatum's face.

Tatum is rocked!

Pond looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Tatum covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
