The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camara ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Buug Uga throws a body shot but no joy.
Camara feinted with a counter takedown.
Camara shoots for a double leg takedown but Buug Uga sprawls well. He's pushed Camara's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Camara takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Camara has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Buug Uga finds it's way round the side to connect with Camara's head.
Baakir Camara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Camara shoots in looking for a takedown. Buug Uga tries to sprawl out of it but Camara keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buug Uga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Camara seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Buug Uga for as long as he can get away with.

Camara has control of Buug Uga's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Buug Uga regains control of the situation pretty easily.
