Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Big Asznee (ranked 2902 p4p, 330 weight class) and Gary Red (ranked 3837 p4p, 416 weight class). Asznee comes to the cage accompanied by The Game. Big Asznee has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Red.
Red scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Asznee needs to keep his hands up - Red had a free shot at his head there.
Red lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Asznee is defended easily by Red.
Red throws a counter combo.

Asznee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Red has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Asznee has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Asznee really is a fat lump.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Asznee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Red is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Red escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Gary Red is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Red throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Asznee looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Red pushes Asznee away with a front kick.

Asznee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Asznee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Asznee in particular looking to stall.

Red is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Asznee scores with a couple of nice shots.

Asznee is looking for a kimura but Red is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Asznee to get the leverage.

Asznee wants to control but Red is keeping him busy.

Red is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Asznee has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Red bucks up and tries to throw Asznee off but instead Asznee has got his back!
Asznee is riding his opponent, not letting Red buck him off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Red won't enjoy being in this position. Asznee looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Red is tapping - it's over boys! Asznee picks up the submission victory!
