Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stasius Venom (ranked 585 p4p, 87 weight class) and Marlo Stanfield (ranked 704 p4p, 103 weight class). Venom comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Stanfield has chosen Legendary as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venom avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Stanfield throws a lazy uppercut
and Venom counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Venom takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stanfield bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Venom's head.
Venom tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A slow jab from Stanfield misses its intended target.
Nice straight punches there by Stanfield. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stanfield.
Stanfield fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stanfield misses with a wild body shot.
It looked like Venom wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Venom moves away from the strike by Stanfield.
A telegraphed right hand from Venom misses the target.
Venom definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Venom swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Stanfield misses with a two punch combination.
Venom scores with a nice strike.
Stasius Venom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stanfield just misses with a punch to the body.
Stanfield gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Venom.
Venom is looking to slow Stanfield down with leg kicks.

Oooooh!!! Venom has knocked Stanfield down with a huge combo! Venom steps away and waves a wobbly Stanfield back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Stanfield is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Venom ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Stanfield out cold! The fight is over!

A very excited looking Stasius Venom rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
