The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre falls off balance throwing a combination

and Mcmillan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mcmillan.
Mcmillan connects with a couple of short punches.
St Pierre wants to improve his position but instead Mcmillan has moved into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcmillan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
St Pierre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Mcmillan wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
St Pierre throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
St Pierre fails to land with a series of punches.

Mcmillan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. St Pierre looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

St Pierre tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mcmillan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear St Pierre down.

St Pierre is working to avoid the ground and pound but Mcmillan connects with a decent elbow.
Mcmillan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at St Pierre to see if he's OK.

Mcmillan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
St Pierre can't do much from the bottom here.

Mcmillan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mcmillan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Mcmillan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but St Pierre is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mcmillan is working to tighten his grip on St Pierre's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. St Pierre has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mcmillan is really squeezing tight and eventually St Pierre passes out! Mcmillan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
