PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raheem Nazir (ranked 23769 p4p, 840 weight class) and Nevil Hawk (ranked 23547 p4p, 814 weight class). Hawk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ruleta. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Nazir throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nevil Hawk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nazir moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nazir throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nazir tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hawk sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nazir somewhat.

Hawk throws a hook but Nazir blocks it.
Nazir is looking to counter the offense by Hawk and move into the clinch.

Nazir attempts a counter takedown but Hawk avoids it well and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
