Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donald Trumpet (ranked 8975 p4p, 647 weight class) and Danny Greene (ranked 3331 p4p, 353 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Donald Trumpet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Greene!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene circles away from the clinch attempt

and Greene counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Trumpet!

Trumpet sneaks out the side door and pushes Greene away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Trumpet shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Greene counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Greene.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Trumpet looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Greene slips nicely into half guard.

Greene is nestled in close to Trumpet, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Greene is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trumpet is just riding it out for now. Greene eventually gives up the hold.

Trumpet seems to have got his legs back now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Trumpet has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Greene is working away from the top position though.

Danny Greene dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Greene decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Trumpet has one foot on Greene's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

and Greene counters with a single leg into guard. Trumpet didn't expect that.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Greene distracts Trumpet with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Greene lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Greene controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Greene has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Greene gets to his feet and stands over Trumpet, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Trumpet felt that one! Greene unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Trumpet from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danny Greene!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Danny Greene waved his t-shirt featuring Annihilation Apparel's logo in front of the cameras.
