Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Randy Klose (ranked 8013 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Petersen (ranked 394 p4p, 59 weight class). Don Petersen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Don Petersen!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Petersen closes the distance and clinches.

Petersen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Klose can't fight it off and eventually Petersen manages to take the fight to the floor. Klose looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Klose can't keep his opponent in guard - Petersen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Petersen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Klose knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Petersen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Klose does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Petersen slows the pace down in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Klose wants to control but Petersen is keeping busy.

Petersen is working for a kimura but Klose is defending it quite comfortably.

Petersen works his way into side control.

Petersen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Klose knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Klose regains half guard.
Klose wants to improve his position but Petersen is controlling well.

Petersen in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Klose tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Petersen!
