Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Melek Taus!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kemp listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Taus darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


It looks like Ross Kemp has been cut.
Kemp misses with a straight right.
Taus misses with a low kick.
We've been told by Kemp's head coaches at Big Bear Fight Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Taus lands a glancing blow to the side of Kemp's head.
Taus closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kemp counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A slow jab from Kemp misses its intended target.
Taus swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kemp throws a hook but Taus avoids it easily.
Taus has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kemp throws a looping overhand right but Taus ducks down to avoid it.
A nice side step and Taus releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
A telegraphed right hand from Kemp misses the target.
The fighters circling - Kemp throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Taus lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kemp at a distance.

Kemp throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Taus counters with a slapping leg kick.

Good leg kick by Taus there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Taus staying out of range there.
Kemp takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Taus scores with a jab to the body.
Kemp takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kemp moves out of range of the strikes.

Taus slips under a jab from Kemp.
Kemp bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kemp throws a big shot that misses.

Taus scores with a jab to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taus explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Taus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kemp.
Taus scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.


Ross Kemp's cut is getting worse.
Taus lands an overhand right.
Taus misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kemp throwing a counter right hand but Taus manages to avoid it.
Taus lands with a nice body punch.
Taus uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kemp.
Taus defending well as Kemp loads up on a big left hand.
Taus follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Taus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Melek Taus dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ross Kemp's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Taus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kemp.
Taus lands a nice shot that snaps Kemp's head back.
Taus scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ross Kemp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kemp throws a right hand that misses
and Taus counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Taus fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kemp has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kemp is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Taus's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Kemp throws a lazy uppercut
and Taus counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kemp throws a right hand that misses
and Taus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


Ross Kemp's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Kemp throws a big shot that misses.
Kemp swings widly with a right hand
and Taus counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Taus thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kemp if he has to take too many more of those.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Taus slips under a jab from Kemp.
Taus now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Kemp chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Taus can pounce on him.

Taus lands a right hook to the body.
Taus has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Taus closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kemp throws an off balance right hand
and Taus counters with a stiff right hand.


Jeez, Ross Kemp's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Taus looks to land a right hand but Kemp moved out of range.
Taus misses with a body shot.
Kemp is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Taus slips under a jab from Kemp.
Taus connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kemp misses with a looping left.
Kemp takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ross Kemp's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Melek Taus!
