Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damiao Marcos (ranked 339 p4p, 45 weight class) and Ebyn Dall (ranked 308 p4p, 41 weight class). Dall is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Under the Blood. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcos misses with a body kick.
Nice body punch from Marcos.
Marcos keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dall avoids a kick to the body.
Marcos misses the shot to the body.

Marcos moves into the clinch.
Marcos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dall gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Marcos struggles to land a body shot inside as Dall controls his hands.
Dall lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Dall breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dall throws a hook but Marcos blocks it.
Marcos looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Marcos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dall manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Marcos throws a push kick but Dall slaps the foot to one side.
Marcos misses with an attempted mid kick.
Dall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
As Marcos backs off Dall throws a huge counter combo but Marcos manages to avoid it all.

Dall gets caught flat footed, as Marcos shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Dall is looking for a triangle but Marcos pushes his legs off easily.

Dall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marcos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marcos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dall is looking for a triangle but Marcos pushes his legs off easily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A jab from Marcos finds it's way through Dall's defenses.
Marcos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dall's head.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Marcos moves into the clinch.

Marcos is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dall is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Marcos to the mat. Marcos regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Dall is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Marcos has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Marcos!
Marcos postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dall working for a triangle but Marcos defends it easily.
Marcos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dall looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Marcos passes into side control.

Marcos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dall keeps working.
Dall takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Dall is looking to regain half guard here but Marcos keeps moving and retains side control.

Dall is trying to control Marcos's posture but Marcos avoids it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Damiao Marcos will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Marcos stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Dall lands a nice leg kick that just misses Marcos's sensitive parts.

Marcos drives through with a takedown into Dall's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Dall has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Marcos is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dall.

Marcos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dall with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Marcos passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dall!
Marcos lands a couple of good shots and Dall has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Dall is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Marcos gets his way!

Marcos is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Dall is defending well though. Marcos let's go of the attempt for now.
Marcos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dall can do to turn this around?
