Harrison is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sex Machine by James Brown. Sledge Harrison looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sledge Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Harrison. No joy for Jimenez on that attempt.
Harrison drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jimenez defends it well.
Jimenez misses with a combination

and Harrison counters with a takedown into side control.
Harrison wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jimenez keeps working.

Harrison wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jimenez, who protects the arm well.
Harrison wants to control for a moment but Jimenez uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jimenez keeping control of the position.
Jimenez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Harrison wants to control but Jimenez is keeping him busy.

Harrison wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jimenez keeps working.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Harrison might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jimenez haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Harrison seems to be working for a kimura but Jimenez defends the submission attempt.
Jimenez tries to get to full guard but Harrison has control of the leg.
Harrison is keen to just control but Jimenez is a slippery customer.

Harrison is working for a submission of some sort.
Harrison trying to control the action but Jimenez is working from the bottom.

Harrison is thwarting Jimenez's attempts to control the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Harrison fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jimenez avoids it really well and circles away.
Jimenez thinks about countering with a head kick.
Harrison fails with the takedown.
Jimenez is looking for a counter combo.
Harrison has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Jimenez dives in and scores a takedown into Harrison's guard.
Harrison looks winded!

Harrison looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Harrison had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jimenez defends it easily.
Jimenez wants to control from the top but Harrison keeps moving.
Jimenez wanted to stand there but Harrison had control of the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Jimenez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Harrison is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jimenez stands up from guard. Let's bang!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Carlos Jimenez will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Jimenez lands a left and a right that send Harrison crashing to the mat, dazed. Jimenez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Harrison is rocked!


It looks like Sledge Harrison has been cut.

Jimenez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Harrison on his heels. He'll look to pass Harrison's guard now, I'm sure.
Harrison is still in real trouble! Can Jimenez finish him?
Harrison has momentary wrist control but Jimenez slips an elbow through the middle.
Jimenez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Harrison's head.
Jimenez postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Harrison covers up, he's hurt! Jimenez keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Jimenez and the ref steps in to end the fight! Jimenez can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carlos Jimenez!
The defeated Sledge Harrison had this to say: 'I'm just gonna get right back up! Ain't nothing stopping the groovy lovin' sex machine! Right on baby!'.
