Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chip Chocolate (ranked 2439 p4p, 250 weight class) and Sam Wilson (ranked 3842 p4p, 379 weight class). Chocolate's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cookie Dance. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chip Chocolate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Wilson!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Nice uppercut there from Chocolate.
Chocolate scores with a hook.
Chocolate moves away from the strike by Wilson.

Chocolate decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wilson trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Wilson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Chocolate is in the full mount, landing strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilson is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chocolate wants to control the pace but Wilson is squirming around nicely.

Wilson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chocolate is just riding it out for now. Wilson eventually gives up the hold.
Chocolate is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Chocolate tries to roll over but Wilson keeps him under control.
Wilson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chocolate knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Chocolate is positioning himself well to prevent Wilson advancing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chocolate tries to get to full guard but Wilson has control of the leg.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Chocolate is not content to let Wilson control the position.

Wilson raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Wilson slips a jab from Chocolate.
Wilson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A big right from Chocolate misses.
Wilson just misses with a punch to the body.
Chocolate changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Chip Chocolate will probably get the nod.

Wilson misses with a head kick.
Chocolate moves out of range of the body kick from Wilson.
Sam Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Wilson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Wilson feints and then cracks Chocolate's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chocolate down.
Chocolate tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch but Chocolate swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wilson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Chocolate drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Chocolate got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wilson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chocolate has managed to get both his arms back between Wilson's legs - danger averted.
Chocolate lands a couple of elbows.
Chocolate landing some decent shots from guard.

Chocolate is pushing down on Wilson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wilson is fighting to maintain full guard but Chocolate has managed to sneak the leg through.

Wilson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chocolate doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chocolate manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Chocolate stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wilson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chocolate defends it easily.

Wilson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chocolate can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Chocolate works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Wilson regains full guard. Nicely done.
Wilson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Chocolate tries to free his leg and advance position but Wilson is retaining full guard.

Wilson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chocolate gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Chocolate postures up in Wilson's guard and throws a big left but Wilson blocks it.

Chip Chocolate overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


A big left from Chocolate misses.
Chocolate throws out a loose jab but Wilson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wilson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Wilson connects with a solid leg kick.
Wilson closes the distance and clinches up with Chocolate, looking for a takedown. Wilson pushes Chocolate against the cage but Chocolate circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Chocolate cracks Wilson with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Wilson is rocked!

Chocolate tries for a kimura but Wilson is defending well.
Wilson is still in real trouble! Can Chocolate finish him?
Wilson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Nice strikes from Chocolate there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wilson is looking for a sweep. Chocolate is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Chocolate scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Chocolate lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Chocolate wants to pass the guard but Wilson is keeping the position.
Chocolate gets to his feet and stands over Wilson, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Wilson felt that one! Chocolate unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Wilson from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chip Chocolate!
