Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shovel Knight (ranked 3290 p4p, 155 weight class) and Phil Harrass (ranked 3213 p4p, 151 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Knight might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to X Gon' Give It To Ya. Harrass has chosen Tomorrow as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Harrass's head backwards.
Knight fails to land with a series of punches.
Knight throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Knight rushes Harrass and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Harrass tightens his grip and picks Knight up, before dumping him to the ground. Knight manages to land in guard.
Knight has control of Harrass's left arm, preventing Harrass from doing any damage.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Knight throws a head kick that Harrass semi-blocks.
Harrass tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Knight paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Knight throws a low kick but Harrass moves out of range easily.
Harrass let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Harrass takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Good work by Harrass as he checks the leg kick.
Harrass flicks out a counter leg kick but Knight steps away.
Harrass on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Knight lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Harrass can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Knight and Harrass drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Knight.
