Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zangief Smashterov (ranked 4275 p4p, 152 weight class) and Papa Shango (ranked 8284 p4p, 253 weight class). Smashterov comes to the cage accompanied by Rock you like a hurricane-by THE SCORPIONS. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smashterov goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Smashterov looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Shango drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Smashterov defends it well.
Shango looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nice defenses there by Smashterov.
Shango will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smashterov throws a hook but Shango avoids it easily.
Smashterov works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Shango is trying hard to land a takedown here. Smashterov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

A little jabbing left from Shango on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Smashterov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Shango on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Smashterov. Smashterov obviously looking to wear him down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shango misses with a hook. Smashterov ducked under it nicely.
Smashterov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shango.

Smashterov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shango.

Smashterov drops Shango with a beautiful combination! Shango stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smashterov is looking for the KO!

It looks like Papa Shango has been cut.

Smashterov lands a big right hand that sends Shango crashing to the mat! Smashterov stays standing though and waves Shango back to his feet!

Smashterov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Zangief Smashterov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shango throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Smashterov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Smashterov connects with a leg kick. Shango looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Shango takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Smashterov feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Shango's calf.

Smashterov lands a big right hand that sends Shango crashing to the mat! Smashterov stays standing though and waves Shango back to his feet!
Shango is still on wobbly legs! Can Smashterov finish him?
Smashterov scores with a hook to the body. Shango takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Shango seems to have recovered his senses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Smashterov.
A bone on bone clash there as Shango blocks the leg kick.
Shango looks to score with a jab to the body but Smashterov is just out of range.

Shango takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Smashterov grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Shango takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Smashterov cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Zangief Smashterov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
