The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayete bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kan's head backwards.
Ayete shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kan defends it nicely.
Kan is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ayete looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ayete feints a jab promting Kan to slip. Ayete then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kan pushes Ayete against the cage. Kan is working some dirty boxing. Kan pushes off with a quick right hook! Ayete goes down! Ayete tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Kan moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
