Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zenzo Hosoi!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Guerra enables Hosoi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Guerra manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Hosoi drops back looking for a leg! Guerra is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Guerra manages to kick Hosoi off! Hosoi jumps back into Guerra's guard.
Hosoi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Guerra not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hosoi is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

It looks like Pedro Guerra has been cut.
Guerra tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Guerra throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hosoi uses it to pass to side control.
You can see the frustration on Guerra's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hosoi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hosoi grinds an elbow into Guerra's temple.

Guerra is rocked!

Pedro Guerra's cut is getting worse.

Hosoi decides to stand up, so the ref orders Guerra to his feet.
Oh Guerra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hosoi closes the distance and clinches.
Hosoi misses with an elbow over the top.
Hosoi stalling in the clinch.

Hosoi lands a takedown into guard.
Hosoi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hosoi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hosoi gets to his feet and stands over Guerra, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Guerra felt that one! Hosoi unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Guerra from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zenzo Hosoi!
