Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan McClain (ranked 1841 p4p, 242 weight class) and Dave Schultz (ranked 1081 p4p, 148 weight class). Dan McClain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dan McClain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Schultz!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClain throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McClain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schultz moves away.
McClain moves out of range of the body kick from Schultz.
McClain was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
McClain looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Schultz throws a head kick that misses.
McClain tries to clinch up but Schultz circles away and keeps his distance.
Despite the aggression on Schultz's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

McClain lands a left and a right that send Schultz crashing to the mat, dazed. McClain thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Dave Schultz has been cut.
McClain closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Schultz! McClain dives in looking to finish! Schultz is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
