The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oki looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Oki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hamilton defends it well.
Hamilton pushes Oki off looking to stand but Oki dives back in and keeps control.

Oki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hamilton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oki moves in looking to clinch but Hamilton pushes him off.

That was a close round but I would say that Edwin Hamilton will probably get the nod.

Hamilton is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oki thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hamilton pushes Oki away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Oki gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

What's Hamilton going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Hamilton is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Oki defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Hamilton has the hooks in. Oki is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Hamilton cracks Oki with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Oki from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Hamilton lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Hamilton.

You can see the frustration on Oki's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Oki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hamilton is just riding it out for now. Oki eventually gives up the hold.

Oki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Oki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hamilton was covering up waiting for the punch and Oki finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Oki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Oki moves into the clinch.
Oki is trying to push Hamilton away but Hamilton has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hamilton is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Oki can do to turn this around?

Hamilton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Oki walks away with a smile on his face. Hamilton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Oki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Oki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hamilton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hamilton explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Hamilton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick by Oki misses

and Hamilton holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oki has Hamilton pressed against the cage, preventing Hamilton from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Oki wants the takedown. Hamilton is fighting it off but Oki persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hamilton's guard against the cage.
Hamilton pulls Oki in close to his closed guard and prevents Oki from doing any damage or advancing position.
Oki wants to control from the top but Hamilton keeps moving.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hamilton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
