Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terppu Packalen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gato Wali!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wali.
Wali tries to move into full mount but can't pass Packalen's legs.
Packalen is looking for a sweep.

Wali wants to control but Packalen is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Packalen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Packalen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wali seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Wali is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Packalen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Packalen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

and Wali counters with a nice double leg into side control. Packalen won't be happy with that.

Packalen wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Wali has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Packalen's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Packalen is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Wali!
