The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Woods definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Maanantai misses with a right hand
and Woods connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Maanantai has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Woods counters with a crisp right hand that drops Maanantai! Woods lets Maanantai back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Woods stuns Maanantai with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

A quick step to the side and Woods tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Woods cracks Maanantai with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Woods throws an uppercut from hell that sends Maanantai clean off his feet! He's out cold! Woods stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
