Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rambo Tan (ranked 6634 p4p, 428 weight class) and Magyan Murko (ranked 6164 p4p, 408 weight class). Tan comes to the cage accompanied by He's a Pirate. Rambo Tan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rambo Tan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magyan Murko!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Murko to the mat! Murko manages to get full guard.
Murko seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Murko has a closed guard, preventing Tan from standing up.
Tan being controlled here momentarily.
Murko's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tan wants to pass the guard but Murko is keeping the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Murko seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Murko has a closed guard, preventing Tan from standing up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Tan moves into the clinch successfully.
Murko lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Tan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Murko has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Murko is pulling down on Tan's head. It's preventing any offense from Tan, at least for the moment.

More stalling from Murko.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Tan dives in and scores a takedown into Murko's guard.
Tan trying to control the position from guard on top but Murko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Murko can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tan controls the pace.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Murko looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Murko holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Murko scores with a decent looking hook.
Tan doesn't manage to clinch there - Murko circles away.
Murko lands a really nice looking cross but Tan seems unphased.

Murko gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tan to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Murko looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rambo Tan dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Tan throws a sloppy head kick and Murko moves out of range easily.
Tan misses with a wild body shot.
Murko swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Murko connects with a body shot that sends Tan's belly button to the back.
Murko ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A nice leg kick lands there from Murko.
Tan is looking to clinch but Murko is avoiding it.
Murko connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Murko scores with a nice body kick.
Murko lands an overhand right.

Tan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Murko gets back to half guard.
Rambo Tan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Murko has his hands clasped together around Tan's back. He's all about the action.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Tan is looking to stall here but Murko recovers full guard.
Murko seems keen to control Tan's posture.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Murko keeping moving, preventing Tan from controlling successfully.
Murko is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Murko is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Tan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Murko was covering up waiting for the punch and Tan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Murko has his hands on Tan's head, controlling the position.

Tan trying to control but Murko is working from the bottom.
Murko looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tan trying to control the position from guard on top but Murko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Murko can do to turn this around?

Murko fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Tan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Murko swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Murko lands a slapping body shot.

Murko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Magyan Murko will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Tan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Murko slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tan.
Murko is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Tan's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Murko is looking to improve his position.
Murko keeping hold of Tan's head, controlling as best he can.

Murko is doing well to control the position and prevent Tan from advancing to side control.
Tan prevents Murko from improving his position.
Tan content to control rather than advance.
Murko is concentrating on defense, preventing Tan from advancing position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Murko is refusing to be controlled, as Tan sits in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Murko thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Tan if he has to take too many more of those.
Tan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Murko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice uppercut there from Murko.

Tan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murko is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Tan throws a big elbow that misses.
Murko trying to control the position here.
Murko can't keep his opponent in guard - Tan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Murko keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Tan is looking to take a break and control but Murko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Murko is trying to get back to full guard.
Tan wants to free his trapped foot but Murko is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Murko makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Murko.
Murko seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Tan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Murko is proving hard to escape from.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Murko pulls Tan in to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

And that's the end of the fight!
Rambo Tan showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Tan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
