Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stevie Franchise (ranked 4101 p4p, 428 weight class) and Neo Wiggin (ranked 3594 p4p, 384 weight class). Franchise's entrance music is Microphone Fiend- Rage Against the Machine. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Franchise.
Franchise throws a predictable looking body shot
and Wiggin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wiggin scores with a one two! Franchise had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've been told by Franchise's head coaches at Nuclear Physiques that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Franchise avoids a punch combination nicely.

Franchise went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Franchise throws an overhand right that lands on Wiggin's shoulder, as Wiggin tries to avoid the shot.

Wiggin connects with a leg kick. Franchise looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Wiggin throws a right hand that Franchise ducks under and follows up with a left that Franchise also avoids with ease.
Franchise was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Wiggin throws an overhand right that lands on Franchise's shoulder, as Franchise tries to avoid the shot.
Franchise takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Wiggin scores with a nice right hand.
Franchise throws a lazy right hand but Wiggin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Franchise misses with a lunging right hand
and Wiggin counters with a slapping leg kick.
Wiggin looks to land a right hand but Franchise moved out of range.

Franchise seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Neo Wiggin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wiggin is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Franchise had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Franchise scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wiggin in his tracks.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wiggin! But no joy.

Franchise ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wiggin moves away.
Franchise has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wiggin finds it's way round the side to connect with Franchise's head.
Wiggin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Good exchange - Franchise coming out on top.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wiggin lands with an uppercut that bounces Franchise off the cage and back into range.

Franchise connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wiggin's hands.

Oooooh!!! Franchise has knocked Wiggin down with a huge combo! Franchise steps away and waves a wobbly Wiggin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Franchise throws a big counter combination but Wiggin scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Wiggin is still on wobbly legs! Can Franchise finish him?
Franchise steps in with a hook that catches Wiggin right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Franchise follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Wiggin looks absolutely devastated.
