Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Fredrick (ranked 5451 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jetmir Foj (ranked 4596 p4p, 543 weight class). Fredrick comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz: Throw It Up. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fredrick gets a clinch.
Fredrick is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Foj to keep the fight standing.
Fredrick tries to score a body lock takedown but Foj shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Foj gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fredrick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronald Fredrick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fredrick wants a takedown but no success here.
Foj lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Ronald Fredrick has been cut.
Foj lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Fredrick gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Foj wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fredrick slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Foj lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fredrick escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Foj gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fredrick tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Fredrick looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Foj got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fredrick has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Foj has managed to get both his arms back between Fredrick's legs - danger averted.
Foj stays in close to Fredrick's body and controls the position.
Foj really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fredrick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fredrick is looking for a triangle but Foj pushes his legs off easily.

Fredrick working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Foj doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Foj manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fredrick will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fredrick has his foot on Foj's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Foj works his way back into a safe position though.
Foj is stalling in the full guard.
Fredrick looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Foj is posturing up here but Fredrick has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Foj tries to roll out but it's too tight and Foj has to tap! Slick submission there by Fredrick!
