Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Brown (ranked 4185 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brent Stoner (ranked 3392 p4p, 0 weight class). Brent Stoner told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown swings widly with a right hand

and Stoner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Stoner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Stoner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stoner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stoner is pushing down on Brown's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brown is fighting to maintain full guard but Stoner has managed to sneak the leg through.

Stoner is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Brown is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
