The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Westbrook swivels and escapes.
Rodriguez dives in for a single leg takedown but Westbrook sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Westbrook darts in and clinches Rodriguez up against the cage.
Westbrook is pressed up against the cage. Rodriguez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Westbrook down to the mat. Westbrook avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
