Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Casper Abbot (ranked 7092 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Sessions (ranked 24942 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ramon Sessions was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ramon Sessions !
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbot misses the jab.
Sessions looks for a takedown but Abbot sprawls well.
Abbot appears to be looking for a big counter.
Abbot throws a right hand that misses

and Sessions counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Abbot scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Abbot leaves Sessions with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sessions is looking to clinch.
Abbot catches Sessions with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Abbot connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Abbot throws a shot from downtown. Sessions moves away and avoids it.
Sessions scoring well with a low kick there.
Abbot lands a glancing blow to the side of Sessions 's head.

It looks like Ramon Sessions has been cut.
Sessions slips a jab from Abbot.
Sessions swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Abbot scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Abbot drops Sessions with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sessions looks back up at him and smiles so Abbot waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Sessions is rocked!

Sessions bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Abbot comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Sessions falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Sessions was out before he hit the floor!

In his post fight interview, Casper Abbot started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
