The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peter drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Rico tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Peter works to advance to full mount. Rico defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Rico tries to hold on but Peter pushes him away.
Peter unloads with some shots from mount but Rico bucks and avoids them well.

Peter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Peter manages to capitalize on a mistake by Rico to take his back!
